Chemocatalysis
Our approach towards the development of a catalytic process relies on i. the unbiased use of a large catalyst and ligand library (any relevant and commercial available item with FTO at stock, as well as in-house developed ones) and ii. the use of robotic equipment and parallel reactors where a few hundreds of catalytic systems can be tested at different conditions within a few days. Development and safe scale up of those catalytic processes (if appropriate in combination with our flow chemistry expertise) has resulted in the successful implementation of the following catalytic technologies: (asymmetric) hydrogenation, deuteration, oxidation, cross-coupling reactions for the formation of C-C, C-O or C-N bonds, carbonylation, metathesis, isomerization, etc.
